As I prepare for what is shaping up to be a busy spring and summer season and I review some of the images I created over the past few months, I can't help but be grateful at the fact that #1 → winter is pretty much over, and #2 → that as cold and brutal as it was, it provided me with some great opportunities to create some amazing images and photographs.
The winter of 2015 started out pretty mild and snow-free as evidenced by the lack of snow at the end of December. When it finally did, oh boy, ...it came down with a vengeance.
Things for us in Chicago were not as bad as it was for the folks in the NE side of the country, but we got our fair share of "winter stuff" which made for several snow days, a few "cold days" and kids enjoying winter fun when not in school.
As a person that actually likes having all 4 seasons, winter usually starts OK and I don't typically mind it as long as it's not ridiculously cold or it gets in the way of doing the things I want to do.
I still enjoy getting out and doing photography whereas it's in urban settings or head out into the boonies and see what I can find that will challenge my creativity or help me fulfill a work assignment.
Thank you again for checking out and reading my blog.
Until next time...!
