I finally had a chance to check out some waterfalls at a local state park. Since it is still brutally cold in my area, the falls are frozen solid and I was given an unusual access to their magnificence and splendor.
I'm hoping to be able to make it in spring and perhaps do a side-by-side photo comparison assuming I'm able to reach them the same way or even stand in the same spot.
In any event, check out these images and if you enjoy the outdoors, I encourage you to go and visit some of these parks as they're beautiful even in winter. There are far less people to bump into and the views are amazing.
Below ↓ - A bird's eye view of another of the falls. A couple of people decided to climb the falls (with proper equipment, of course).
I could hear a bit of water trickling deep inside it and could also see bits of light coming through the water crystals.
Below ↓ - A "selfie" of sorts. :)
